What Is a SANDPIPER AODD Pump?
A SANDPIPER AODD pump is an Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm pump designed to transfer liquids and other process fluids using compressed air as the driving power source.
Unlike many conventional pumps that depend on an electric motor and rotating shaft, an AODD pump uses reciprocating diaphragms to move fluid. The pumping action is generated by alternating compressed air between two diaphragm chambers. This operating principle allows AODD pumps to handle a wide variety of industrial fluids and makes them suitable for applications where electrical power may be undesirable or unavailable.
